ORIGINAL STORY:
One person has been shot in Boston near the Prudential building, a busy business and shopping district.
According to the Boston Globe, police said that a man had been shot at around 11 a.m. near the corner of Huntington Avenue and West Newton Street, which is also near the upscale Colonnade Hotel.
The victim reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries, and was transported to Tufts Medical Center.
According to all available information, police have not yet apprehended a suspect in the shooting.
