A mother and her two sons have gone missing in Texas, just as the mother was reportedly trying to leave an abusive relationship.
News 4 San Antonio reports that Belen Elizondo has been missing since Sunday along with her two sons, Moises and Salvador, both autistic.
Pamela Allen, the executive director of Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach, told Fox San Antonio that Elizondo had been trying to escape an abusive relationship with her husband and had recently filed a protective order. She had reportedly been planning to go to the Battered Women’s Shelter in San Antonio this weekend but never arrived there.
Elizondo and her sons were reportedly last seen at the Inn Town Suites on Perrin Beitel Road.
