A missing North Carolina toddler was found safe in Davidson County on Monday after a man stole a car late Sunday night with the little boy still inside, according to the High Point Police Department.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 1-year-old Legend Masir Goodwine was inside a gold Acura TL sedan with North Carolina license plate, FES-4626, when someone took the car from a parking lot off of 1100 South Main Street in High Point. Police announced the incident at around 11 p.m. Sunday night, followed by an AMBER Alert a few hours later.
While it’s still unclear how or where authorities located the boy, the suspect remains on the run.
Previous reports indicated that the suspect was a black male, but according to images taken from security footage, the suspect appears to be a white male wearing a blue shirt, with a grey and white mesh cap.
According to FOX 8, police said the man appears to stand around 6-feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
