UPDATE: Missing Alabama student’s vehicle found damaged 55 miles from where she was last seen

A vehicle belonging to a missing 19-year-old Auburn, Alabama, woman was found Friday about 55 miles away at an apartment complex in Montgomery, WRBL reported.

Aniah Blanchard, a student at Southern Union State Community College, spoke with a friend just before midnight on Wednesday and hasn’t been heard from since, CrimeOnline previously reported.

WSFA reported that Blanchard’s black 2017 Honda CR-V had sustained damage since it was last seen at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Auburn Police Chief Paul Register said the vehicle was last seen in Auburn in the area of South College Street and Interstate 85.

Angela Haley-Harris, Blanchard’s mother, spoke with WBRC and said her daughter’s debit card was used Wednesday night and that she had met a young man that night.

AL.com noted that Blanchard’s father is UFC heavyweight fighter Walt Harris, who tweeted the news of Blanchard’s disappearance.

Blanchard was described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 125 pounds, and having brown eyes and brown hair. Police said she was last seen wearing a black dress, tan duck boots, and black stockings.
