An Alabama man is facing felony charges brutally abused his infant daughter, police say.
Al.com reports that 19-year-old Dashun Montae Bush is facing aggravated child abuse charges following a December 23 incident that ended with a 3-month-old baby in the hospital.
According to police, the baby’s mother took her to the hospital after noticing the little girl seemed ill. Doctors reportedly said that not only did the baby have 22 broken ribs, but a broken arm and leg. Some of the injuries were in various stages of healing, meaning the injuries happened during different times.
“That’s a lot of injuries in a short period of time,’’ Chief Sean Lemley said. “Our job is to take care of that victim. It’s a bad case.”
