Alabama authorities put out a statewide alert on Wednesday for Amberly Flores, 13, who has been missing since early Tuesday morning, the Pelham Police Department said.
Late Wednesday, the department posted photographs of a dark-colored Mercedes SUV saying that they say Amberly “willingly got into.” Detectives are hoping to pry the license number off surveillance footage.
Amberley was last seen wearing a white jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a pink backpack near Green Park South Mobile Homes in Pelham.
After reviewing surveillance video near Green Park South, we can confirm that Amberly Flores willingly got into the dark SUV you see in this photo.
Detectives are working to ID the make & model of the SUV. Call 205-620-6550 with info if you have it.#PelhamPD pic.twitter.com/1iFIaUuGXZ
