Authorities in South Carolina are seeking to identify a vehicle seen near the last known location of 6-year-old Faye Swetlik.
On Wednesday night, the Cayce Department of Public Safety shared images of a sedan and a SUV on social media, asking the public to help identify the vehicles that were seen in the Churchill Heights neighborhood of Cayce, where Faye was last seen on Monday afternoon. In a Facebook post, the CDS said they were hoping to speak to the occupants of the vehicles, who may have information about Faye’s disappearance on Monday afternoon.
Faye was last seen disembarking a school bus at about 3:45 p.m. and then on the front porch of her home on Londonderry Lane. Family members reported her missing at about 5 p.m. after they reportedly lost track of her.
On Friday morning, the Cayce DPS said in a Twitter post that tips had helped the department identify an SUV included in the images shared the night before. The department did not share further specifics about the owners or occupants of the SUV. The department is still seeking information about the silver sedan seen in the same area:
Tips continue to come about the vehicles that were in the Churchill Heights neighborhood during the time #FayeSwetlik was last seen.
