Citing police, The Dallas Morning News reported that two adults and two children were killed in Tuesday’s apparent murder-suicide. Police identified the decedents as Charles Schoenfeld, 41, Brittany Howard, 31, Noah Schoenfeld, 9, and Charles Schoenfeld II, 12.
Staybridge Suites Hotel employees reportedly told police that the family had been staying at the hotel for a week. The news outlet reported that gunshots were heard coming from the hotel room on Tuesday, the same day their stay expired.
A weapon was reportedly discovered at the crime scene. Additional details surrounding Tuesday’s incident are unavailable at this point in time

Texas police discovered the bodies of a father and his three children in what is being investigated as a murder-suicide, according to emerging reports.
KTVT reporter J.D. Miles tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that four bodies were discovered in a motel off Dallas North Tollway. While details surrounding the discovery are not immediately known, Miles wrote that the case appears to be a murder-suicide.
An update from the news station revealed that Tuesday’s incident occurred at the Staybridge Suites Hotel in Dallas. The father allegedly pointed a gun at the housekeeper as she entered the room, prompting the housekeeper to flee.
