A little girl missing since Friday was found deceased, according to officials.
Tampa Bay Times reports that Lorie Thermidor disappeared on May 1 from her home near the K-Bar Ranch subdivision in Tampa. The girl’s father said he realized she was missing at around 1:30 p.m. and contacted authorities.
Hundreds of searchers, including volunteers, search dogs and divers, scoured the area for hours. At around 8:30 p.m., divers found the little girl in a lake near her residence.

Sadly, the child was found in the lake deceased.

Police have not said whether foul play is expected. No arrests have been made. The cause of death is pending.
