A nursing home worker who became a viral sensation after she was featured in a TikTok video dancing with a 102-year-old resident just a few weeks ago.
The Herald reports that Jeanette McKenna, 53, was discovered dead in her home in Glasgow, Scotland on May 7. McKenna had worked at Whitecraigs Care Home in Thornliebank for 10 years, and in mid-April she was seen in a video performing a dance with a fellow staffer and a 102-year-old resident of the home.
According to the report, a person whose relationship to McKenna is unknown alerted police to an emergency.
“On arrival, officers found the body of a 53-year-old woman within the property,” police told The Herald.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”

It is not known if McKenna was infected with coronavirus, but the Whitecraigs Care Home is expected to undergo a deep cleaning, presumably as a precautionary measure.
“We are deeply shocked and saddened at this tragic news,” a Whitecraigs spokesperson told the news outlet.
“She was absolutely selfless and gave love and support to all residents and families within her care.”
