The Rexburg Police department announced in a brief press conference on Tuesday night that Chad Daybell will appear in court at 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday, in a closed hearing.
Daybell has been charged with felony destruction or concealment of evidence and was booked into the Fremont County Jail on Tuesday.

Chad Daybell, the husband of Lori Daybell and stepfather to her two missing children, has been booked into jail after investigators discovered human remains on the property of his Idaho residence.
Eric Grossarth of EastIdahoNews.com shared on Twitter an image of a jail record showing that Chad Daybell has been booked into Fremont County Jail, and reported that Daybell has been charged with felony destruction or concealment of evidence.

Rexburg Police confirmed on Thursday that human remains were found on Daybell’s property in Salem, just outside of Rexburg, but authorities have not yet identified the remains.
A representative from the Fremont County Sheriff’s office confirmed that Daybell is being held on a felony charge without bail. The sheriff’s office declined to comment further.
Lori Vallow is already in custody on felony charges of child desertion.
