California authorities are searching for two missing children who were reportedly abducted from the County USC Medical Center in Los Angeles on August 1.
The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept Information Bureau (SIB) reports that police are searching for Anyssa Cortez, 14, and Christopher D. Cortez, 12. Authorities believe the children were taken by their biological father, Christopher C. Cortez, 38, who does not have custody of them.
Christopher Cortez is accused of following the children to the USC Medical Center at 2010 Zonal Avenue. He allegedly ordered them to get into his car, then drove away in a dark-colored SUV.

Anyssa is described as a Hispanic female who stands 4-feet-10-inches tall and weighs around 106 pounds. She was last seen wearing white shorts with red polka dots and a green tank top.
Christopher is described as a Hispanic male who stands 4-feet-10-inches tall and weighs around 147 pounds. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a white shirt, and black and white sandals.
