At least one person is dead and others are critically injured or trapped following a gas explosion on Monday morning.
WBAL-TV reports that one woman is dead, two people are in critical condition, and two others remain trapped after the explosion caused extensive damage in Northwest Baltimore. There are conflicting reports about the number of injured victims; WJLA reports that three people are in critical condition.
According to the report, three homes were affected in the blast. The deceased victim was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear if the victims were in the same or multiple homes at the time of the explosion.
