Florida authorities are searching for a 10-year-old girl who disappeared over the weekend in Miami.
NBC 6 reports that Randi Canion was last at around 11 p.m. seen on September 5th, close to North Bayshore Drive and 78th Street. On Tuesday, officials issued an AMBER Alert for Ranion.
The Miami Police Department hasn’t shared additional details surrounding the girl’s disappearance, but her mother, who lives in North Carolina, posted a plea for her return on Facebook, The Daily Beast reports.
“My daughter will be 11 In exactly 12 days we had looked forward to spending it together. Y’all please don’t give up continue to share please help find my daughter.”

Randi stands 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Miami Police Department at 305-603-6300 or 305-579-6111.
“We know that a 10-year-old, it’s a risk for anybody to be out there on the streets whether it’s alone or with someone, so that’s why we’re asking that if anybody has seen her over the weekend, Sunday, Monday to please contact us immediately,” Miami Police spokesperson Michael Vega said on Tuesday.
