Stephanie Hollingsworth: Reward doubles for missing Florida mom who vanished after taking $20 from ATM

As the search continues for a missing Florida mother, a reward for information that leads Stephanie Hollingsworth’s whereabouts has doubled to $10,000.

“The family of Stephanie Hollingsworth has enhanced the Crimeline reward,” Belle Isle Police Chief Laura Houston announced on Friday. “It is now $10,000 for information which leads to locating the missing mother.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Hollingsworth left her home in the Orlando suburb of Belle Isle on September 25 to run errands. She withdrew $20 cash from a nearby Bank of America drive-through off of Hoffner Avenue and Goldenrod Road at 2 p.m. She was in a 2000 champagne-colored Chevy Tahoe with Florida license plate Y50XUR.

Family members said she left her cellphone at home. She was last seen in a black shirt and black or grey pants.

A video that surfaced earlier this month showed Hollingsworth as she walked down a Walmart aisle in Orlando, off of South Goldenrod Road, on September 25.

Hollingworth’s husband, Scott, said it was completely out of character for his wife, who’s a yoga instructor and mother of three sons, to simply vanish. Security footage at the bank didn’t show anything unusual and Hollingsworth didn’t appear to be troubled or distressed.

“She’s an amazing person, an amazing mother. She’s a beautiful soul and just gave everything she had to everyone in her life,” he said. “A lot of people loved her, and anyone could always count on her.”

Fox 35 reports that family members said they got a tip about a “champagne-colored Chevy Tahoe” on Narcoosee Road. The vehicle was headed toward S.R. 417 and S.R. 528 and had the same license plate number as Hollingsworth’s vehicle.

It’s not clear when the possible sighting happened.

Search volunteers met up on Saturday and scoured the surrounding areas looking for Hollingsworth, without luck. Family members are asking all businesses and residents in the area to check security footage to see if Hollingsworth’s vehicle was captured on camera.

Stephanie Hollingsworth is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs around 115 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on Stephanie Hollingsworth’s whereabouts is asked to call the Belle Isle Police Department via the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch number at 407-836-4357.
