The Ohio mother accused of killing her 6-year-old son has pleaded not guilty to all charges, despite telling police that she killed James Hutchinson while she was attempting to abandon him and his two half-siblings at a wildlife park last weekend.
A reporter for WRGT was in the courtoom on Monday for Gosney and her co-defendant James Hamilton’s arraignment. The reported posted on Twitter that Gosney, 29, pleaded not guilty to all 16 counts, including murder, child endangerment, and gross abuse of a corpse.

Hamilton, Gosney’s boyfriend, has not been charged with murder as prosecutors reportedly believe he was not present at the time of James’s death. But Gosney told police that Hamilton helped her dispose of her son’s body in the Ohio River the morning after she killed him. The little boy’s body has not been found.
Hamilton pleaded not guilty to all 13 charges against him.
According to the WRGT reporter, a judge doubled Gosney’s bail from $1 million to $2 million.
