Four people, including a young child, were shot outside of an Atlanta-area mall Tuesday evening when an argument between two groups broke out.
Fox 5 reports that the incident happened at Cumberland Mall after two groups began arguing in the parking lot at around 6 p.m. Gunfire was exchanged and bullets hit at least four victims in the legs, feet, and back.
According to Sgt. Wayne Delk, spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department, the victims have been identified as
- Karanji Reese, 19
- Jokava Harris, 19
- Desean Powell, 19
- One young child (name withheld)
“This appears to be the aftermath of a shooting between at least two separate suspect vehicles that already left the scene,” police Sgt. Wayne Delk told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
