A Georgia man opened fire into a Hiram bar Saturday night after employees asked him to leave, and when he ran out of bullets, she drove his truck through the front doors of the establishment.
The incident took place at the 278 South Bar at about 11:30 p.m. Eduardo Morales, 34, was asked to leave because he was intoxicated, the Hiram Police Department said.
He left, but pulled up in front of the bar a short time later in black Dodge Ram 2500 and started shooting into the bar through the truck window.

“When his weapon was empty, Morales then drove the vehicle into the bar through the front doors striking numerous patrons,” police said.
The truck stopped when it hit the bar inside, and Morales tried to back out, police said, but got stuck. He reportedly was trying to reload his gun when bar customers pulled him out and restrained him until police arrived.

The police report filed in the case said Morales was treated for minor injuries at Paulding Wellstar Hospital and then booked into the Paulding County Jail on aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges, 11 Alive reported.
Hiram police said one person was grazed by a bullet and another was hit twice by Morales’s truck. That person was treated and released.
WSB reported, however, that a security guard was among those hurt, a woman’s legs were crushed under the truck, and another woman suffered a head injury from a fallen beam. Additionally, a man who helped restrain Morales had broken legs, and other patrons sustained minor injuries.
Police asked customers who left the bar before police arrived to called investigators at 770.943.3807.
