Police in Atlanta, Georgia, are asking the public’s help in the search for a 14-year-old girl who went missing after her first day back at school.
WSB-TV reporter Steve Gelbach posted on Twitter that 14-year-old Caitlyn Winchester did not return home from her first day at North Atlanta High School, where she is a freshman.
According to missing persons news website Society Alert, Caitlyn was last seen on Thursday just after 4 p.m. near the school.
Gelbach said on Twitter that Caitlyn’s parents are not certain she got on the bus after school, but she is believed to have attended the full day of classes. The reporter said that Caitlyn is currently wearing her hair in braids.
