The boyfriend of a missing Kentucky woman owns multiple rental properties at a subdivision that is the site of an FBI search Tuesday.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, FBI agents and cadaver dogs are at a subdivision in Bardstown, the town Rogers, then 35, was living in when she vanished in July 2015. Brooks Houck, Rogers’ boyfriend and the father of one of her children, is the only person ever considered a suspect in her disappearance, though he has never been charged.
According to WKNY reporter Lauren Adams, investigators have so far searched three properties. She said in a Twitter post that Houck owns multiple properties in the Woodlawn Springs subdivision, and that investigators were removing possible evidence from the scene.
The @FBILouisville continues searching several properties in a subdivision where Brooks Houck — the ONLY suspect in the disappearance of Crystal Rogers- has several rental homes. We’ve seen tarps, shovels, and other equipment being brought out. pic.twitter.com/yLs6FsFucD
