Crystal Rogers: FBI Ends Backyard Search for Missing Bardstown Mom, ‘Several Items of Interest’ Found

The FBI has concluded its search of a Nelson County backyard in connection with the case of Crystal Rogers, a 35-year-old Kentucky mom who’s been missing six years.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, agents conducted several searches over the past few weeks. In August, the search began on a property owned by Brooks Houck, who’s been identified as Rogers’ boyfriend and the only person named as a suspect in her disappearance.

Houck, who has a child with Rogers, denies any involvement in her disappearance.

Rogers lived in Bardstown when she was reported missing in July 2015. Her car was later found on Bluegrass Parkway, with personal items like her purse and phone inside. The FBI took over the investigation last year.

Courier-Journal reports that the latest search centered on the Nelson County subdivision, Woodlawn Springs. The FBI announced that several “items of interest” were found during the searches. The items have been sent to the FBI lab in Virginia for additional testing.

Anyone with information on Crystal Rogers’ disappearance should contact the FBI at crystalrogerstaskforce.com/tips/ or at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). A $25,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to her discovery.
