Gabrielle Petito will be laid to rest on Sunday in her native Long Island, a week before her remains were found in Bridger-Teton National Park in Wyoming.
On Friday, The Petito family attorney sent a statement announcing the funeral arrangements. The memorial will take place at Maloney’s Funeral Home in Holbrook, New York, on Sunday from 12-5 p.m. The funeral will be open to the public.
Gabby’s father Joseph Petito also confirmed the funeral arrangements on Twitter.

Earlier this week, a medical examiner in Wyoming confirmed that the remains found belonged to Petito, and said the manner of death was homicide. The medical examiner has not yet commented on a specific cause of death.
The whereabouts of Petito’s boyfriend Brian Laundrie remain unknown the day after the FBI issued an arrest warrant on suspicion that Laundrie used accounts belonging to another person to access more than $1000 between August 30 and September 1.
