Gabby Petito’s father posted a photo from Wyoming’s Jenny Lake on Friday, when the family had traveling to Teton County to retrieve their daughter’s cremated remains.
“I now know why you came here,” Joseph Petito wrote on Twitter. “#gabbypetito has a beautiful view from now on. Love you, and miss you.”

Jenny Lake is in Grand Teton National Park, just a few miles from the remote campsite where Gabby’s murdered body was found on September 19. The Teton County coroner said she died from manual strangulation near the end of August, as CrimeOnline previously reported.
The Petito family is returning to New York with her urn this weekend, TMZ reported.
