The search continues for a young boy who apparently has been missing for six months
As CrimeOnline previously reported, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office said that Elijah Lewis has not been seen by “independent individuals” since earlier this year. On Thursday, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families was notified of the boy’s disappearance and was told he has not been seen in six months. Police began searching for the child immediately.
Investigators said they’re also looking for the boy’s mother, 35-year-old Danielle Denise Dauphinais (pictured), saying she may be with 30-year-old Joseph Stapf (pictured).
Investigators were out on Naticook Lake in Merrimack searching for evidence on Saturday.
“Our search is physically in that area for evidence of where Elijah is, but also we are searching throughout New England to try and find where he is,” New Hampshire Assistant Attorney General Ben Agati said.

Authorities described Dauphinais as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Stapf was said to be 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 170 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
They were last seen driving a 2007 Toyota Tundra with New Hampshire license plate JOJOD78, although authorities did not say when they were last seen.
“At this point, their location is unknown. The one message we have for them is if they are out there, please call Merrimack police. Please call New Hampshire State Police. We need to talk to you about where is Elijah and we need that information as soon as possible,” Agati added.
