18-Year-Old Goes Missing After Visiting Friends on College Campus

Police at Michigan State University in East Lansing are searching for an 18-year-old man who disappeared Friday after visiting friends on campus.

Brendan Santo is not a student at the school is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was wearing gray sweat pants, a black t-shirt, black baseball hat, and white Converse high-top shoes when he was last seen, leaving Yakeley Hall just before midnight.

Police said his vehicle was still in the spot where he parked when he arrived on campus, although investigators said it was possible he was planning to walk to the area of another residence hall less than a mile away.

Police said they are interviewing witnesses, reviewing surveillance footage, and are searching by air, boat, and on foot.

Michigan State Police and the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office are assisting MSU police in the investigation.
