Update: 2 Young Children, 3 Adults Found Dead Inside Florida Home Identified in Brutal Murder-Suicide

A Florida family found dead inside their home this week has been identified, according to Orlando police.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, the bodies were discovered inside a home off of Lake District Lane in the Lake Nona area of Orlando. Police responded to the home after someone called for a welfare check to the residence.

Inside, police found five people dead, identified as:

  • Donovan Michael Ramirez, 45
  • Stephanie Renee Ramirez, 39
  • Alyssa Berumen, 22
  • Sunny Ramirez, 11
  • Shelby Rose Ramirez, 7

Police say Donovan Ramirez killed his wife, Stephanie, and his three children before turning the gun on himself.

“At this time, it appears this is a domestic violence-related incident,” police said in a press release, according to PEOPLE. “Investigators worked overnight to gather as much information as possible.”

Neighbor Justin Rossilini told the Orlando Sentinel that the family moved into the home “about two months ago,” including a middle-aged couple, a 22-year-old son and two young girls, ages 6 and 7. Rossilini added that the family appeared to be “normal.”

I think it’s like a worst nightmare truly,” Rossilini’s fiance, Heather Collins, told WESH. “I don’t even know what happened exactly. My heart goes out to the family. I can’t even begin to wrap my mind around any of this, especially if there were family involved.”

The story is developing and will be updated as additional information becomes available. Check back for updates.
