Missing Oregan Woman Found Dead in Lake Weeks After Disappearance

The body of a missing Oregon woman who hasn’t been seen in over a month was pulled from a Clatsop County river over the weekend.

According to Seaside, Oregon, police, 58-year-old LaDawn Rene Bloom was last seen December 4 in Seaside in a 2018 silver Ford Fiesta with an Arkansas license plate, Fox News reports. She didn’t have her medication and cell phone at the time but was reportedly traveling with three cats.

While searching for Bloom, investigators detected signs of a car entering Neawanna Creek. According to the Cannon Beach Gazette, a Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office diver found Bloom’s body inside a submerged Ford Fiesta on Saturday afternoon at around 12:50 p.m.

The Clatsop County Medicolegal Death Investigator and police say the investigation is ongoing.
