Authorities charged a Michigan man with first-degree child abuse in connection with last week’s death of his girlfriend’s 1-year-old daughter. According to 9&10 News, De’Marco McCovery, 22, brought the child to Otsego Memorial Hospital Thursday, where she was ultimately pronounced dead.
