Parents demand probe after teen model daughter falls to her death from high-rise home of wealthy ‘swinger’ couple

The beautiful teen was found naked on a balcony the morning after –and her ‘friends’ claimed they had no idea she fell

An 18-year-old Dutch model died in a mysterious fall from a high-rise in Malaysia and her parents believe a wealthy American couple know more than they are letting on.

The Express reports that Ivana Smit was found dead and stripped of all her clothes on the sixth floor balcony of a building in Kuala Lumpur’s Jalan Dang Wangi district. Smit was a successful model in Malaysia where she reportedly grew up, and had recently been named a finalist on the TV show Top Model Belgium.

According to the Daily News, Smit had gone back to a 20th-floor apartment with a multimillionaire cryptocurrency trade and his wife after a night out, and was last heard from around 7:30 the morning of her death, when she called her boyfriend and said she was with the couple.

Both the man and the woman reportedly claimed to have been unaware of the fall. The wife said she left early in the morning to take her children to school, and went to sleep as soon as she came back.

Smit’s family isn’t buying their story, and are demanding a more thorough investigation.

Her father, Marcel Smit, told the Dutch newspaper newspaper Algemeen Dagblad that his daughter’s shoes and underwear have not been found, and that the couple who presumably last saw her alive habitually bring young models home with them.

Police are reportedly treating the death as an accident, but Ivana’s father believes there is more to the story.

“I saw bruises on her neck, like fingerprints — as if someone had grabbed her there,” he said about seeing her body in a mortuary. He also noted that the couple she was with did not do anything though Ivana was gone, and her possessions were left behind.

“Very strange that the American couple does nothing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ivana’s belongings were still in the apartment.”

Smit also said that neighbors reportedly heard arguing, and accused investigators of wanting to “close the case quickly.”

According to the Daily News, the Dutch embassy has requested that Interpol revisit the investigation. It is not yet clear if the death investigation will be reopened.
