Human remains found in area where police searched for missing Christina Morris

Construction workers discovered human remains in an area where a young woman went missing four years ago.

Fox 4 reports that builders working on a new housing development found skeletal remains over the weekend in Anna, Texas, under a pile of leaves on a remote road. The workers reportedly said the deceased person appeared to be wearing a dress and women’s undergarments.

Investigators are working to identify the body, which was found an in area police have searched for Christina Morris, a 23-year-old woman who disappeared in 2014.

Morris was last seen in a shopping mall parking garage in Plano on August 30 of that year. She was accompanied by an acquaintance, Enrique Arochi, who is currently serving a life sentence for her kidnapping. Arochi has maintained his innocence although Morris’s DNA was reportedly found in his car.

According to WFAA, Morris’s family has been notified about the discovery of the remains.
