Police search for woman who sprayed Walmart employees with chemical, making them sick

Police are searching for a woman who sprayed a chemical onto Walmart clerk in Fountain, Colorado, before fleeing the store. The spray permeated to additional employees, causing extreme illness.

Fox 31 Denver reports that suspect walked into the Fountain Walmart on 4426 Venetucci Boulevard, at around 10 p.m. on Friday night, and sprayed “some type of chemical liquid” on a store clerk, which contaminated at least six other employees. Some employees became nauseated and began vomiting, while others were hospitalized.

The store manager told police that while in the checkout lane, the woman pulled a small spray bottle from her purse, sprayed the clerk, then sprayed herself and an empty shopping cart, before leaving the store.

The suspect is between the ages of 40 to 50, stands around five-feet seven-inches tall, and has dark blonde/light brown hair. She was wearing dark pants and a short-sleeved multi-color shirt.
