Mom lets 10-year-old son drive, broadcasts on Facebook Live: Report

But is there more to the story?

A mother who allegedly allowed her young son to drive her car while livestreaming the ride on Facebook has been arrested after an investigation that has reportedly been ongoing for months.

According to ABC 7,  Lisa Nussbaum of Monroe, Connecticut, was arrested after numerous witnesses reported seeing a Facebook Live video of the 38-year-old woman driving with her 10-year-old son on public roads, which appeared to be taken from the passenger seat.

Authorities told the news station that Nussbaum is being charged with risk of injury or impairing morals of a minor.

Witnesses reported seeing the Facebook Live video in December and the investigation has reportedly been ongoing since the complaints came in. According to the Connecticut Post, Nussbaum reportedly suggested there was more to the story than has been reported.

The mother was released from custody after her arrest on Friday with a promise to appear at a court date in Bridgeport this coming Friday.
