Do you recognize this baby? Washington police search for parents

UPDATE: Two people, said to be the parents of the baby, have been located and detained for questioning.

UPDATE: 

Lt. Chris Lawler with Lakewood Police said that two people were detained and are currently being questioned by detectives. Lawler indicated that he was confident that people detained are the baby’s parents.

Authorities in Lakewood, Washington, are trying to find the parents or guardians of a young baby found in a yard early Monday morning.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that someone was walking through a residential neighborhood on the 8500 block of John Dower Road, and heard a scream that resembled a distressed animal. Upon further look with a phone flashlight, the witness found a baby boy in the yard, crying.

The West Pierce Fire and Rescue arrived to the scene and checked over the baby. He was a bit cold, but in general, appeared to be in good health. He was taken to a local hospital be the checked over more thoroughly, and then transported to Child Protective Services, where he remains.

Police officers carefully scanned the surrounding area, but couldn’t locate the infant’s parents or anyone who was supposed to be caring for him. He was wearing a green and blue striped onesie outfit with the words “Little Brother” embroidered on the front. He appears to be around three months old.
