The skeletal remains of young Isabel Celis were found in a remote area of Pima County, Arizona, in March, but we still don’t know who murdered her five years ago. The Tucson police chief acknowledges it was not “happenstance” that investigators found Isabel, but he would not reveal if a suspect led them there.
Isabel was six when she was snatched from her bed, pulled through an open window and taken from her Tucson home in the early morning hours of April 2012. Few clues were left behind, triggering a massive search and intense investigation that at times raised suspicion about her father.
DNA tests confirmed that the remains found were Isabel, but the case, Nancy Grace has followed closely for years. is far from closed. She and investigative reporter Alan Duke discuss the dramatic developments in this episode of “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace.”
