BOLO! Teen girl missing since Monday; police ask for public’s assistance

Authorities in Brunswick, Georgia, are asking for the public’s assistance in information on the whereabouts of a teen girl who disappeared on Monday.

The Gazette reports that Mia Rose Anderson, 15, was last seen at her Brunswick home on Monday afternoon. According to Police Chief Brian Ohlin, it appears that the girl left voluntarily. Her family filed a report on Tuesday.

Mia is a white female who stands around five-feet-three inches tall and weighs around weighs around 115 pound. She has blondish-brown hair and light blue eyes. Her family reports she has scarring on her upper left leg.

“We are actively working this investigation and following any leads that come to our attention,” Ohlin stated. “We are in communication with her family and friends and are looking forward to her safe return home.”
