High school teacher sends naked pics to at least five students within months of being hired: Cops

A West Virginia teacher was suspended from her job and arrested after she allegedly sent nude photos to at least five students within mere months of being hired at a Logan County high school.

WSAZ reports that authorities arrested Tracy Miller, 27, on charges of three counts of distribution of obscene matter to minors on Friday. On Thursday, administrators at Logan High School contacted police after learning Miller sent naked photos to several students at the school over a period of several months. One of the students apparently saved the pics to a cellphone and presented it to administrators.

When deputies interviewed Miller, she admitted she sent the photos, mostly via a social media app on her phone. She couldn’t remember how many kids she sent the photos to, but indicated she may have sent them out to around five students.

According to the Logan County School District, Miller was hired in January as a health instructor. She’s been placed on administrative leave while authorities investigate.

“We are dealing with the situation by following county policy governing Employee Code of Conduct. The teacher in question has been suspended at this time,” a statement from the school board read.

Miller was arraigned and released on bond.
