Police: Wife charged with attempted murder after intentionally running her husband over

A California woman is facing attempted murder charges after authorities alleged she purposely ran her husband over on Monday, following a domestic dispute.

Ventura County Star reports that Ventura County officers arrested Roberta Felix a little after 5 p.m. on Monday after she reportedly ran over her husband outside of their Camarillo residence, off of the 200 block of West Ponderosa Drive. Officers arrived to the residence after a call regarding a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they found a badly injured man on the ground.

According to the arrest report, the victim, whose name is unknown at this time, was standing on the sidewalk outside of his home when Felix got in her car and allegedly plowed directly into him.

Police arrested Felix after investigating the scene and conducting interviews with witnesses. She remains behind bars on a $580,000 bail.

As of Wednesday, the victim is trying to recover from injuries. His exact condition is unclear.
