Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock LIED to Chicago hotel in order to book room overlooking Lollapalooza stage

Las Vegas mass shooting suspect Stephen Paddock was forceful and aggressive in his demands for hotel rooms overlooking Chicago’s Lalapalooza music festival in August.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Paddock booked two rooms at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago on the weekend of Lollapalooza. TMZ has since reported that Paddock was determined to secure a room with a view of the stage, and strong-armed hotel staff into guaranteeing him rooms with a view though it is against hotel policy.

According to the TMZ report, Paddock initially booked the rooms via Expedia but then called the hotel to demand the room have views of the music festival. He reportedly told reservation staff that he had met his wife at Lalapalooza and that it was imperative that their room have a view of the music event.

Paddock had a girlfriend, Marilou Danvers, but they were not married. As CrimeOnline previously reported, the couple met at a Nevada casino where Marliou worked as a hostess for VIP players.

Hotel sources who spoke to TMZ said that Paddock was “forceful” in his demands, and that hotel staff gave in. Ultimately he did not appear for his reservation.
