‘There’s no way he could have hurt anyone’: Donald Trump’s ex-wife reveals their children’s close bond with the King of Pop

President Donald Trump’s first wife, Ivana Trump, speaks out in her new book, “Raising Trump,” against child molestation allegations which plagued late pop star icon Michael Jackson for most of his life and into death, according to People.

Ivana Trump said in her book she, “never believed the accusations that he (Jackson) molested those kids.”

“…There’s no way he could have hurt anyone.”

Ivana reveals in the book that the late star often visited her family back during the height of his career. Jackson reportedly lived in Trump Tower during this time.

“He’d stop by and chat with Donald and me for twenty minutes and then he’d go up to the kids’ floor to hang out with them for hours and hours,” said Ivana Trump. “My read on him was asexual. He was a child himself in a man’s body, tender, sweet and gentle.”

She said the children’s nannies or she would always be in the room during Jackson’s visits.

“Michael was a 30-year-old kid. He could relate to Ivanka and the boys better than to us,” said Ivana.

Ivana said, due to their wealth, she and her ex-husband were always wary of people who may not have had good intentions, the People article adds.

Ivana Trump said they discouraged their children from hosting playmates at their home, but she said Jackson was always allowed within their close circle of friends and allowed to visit whenever he chose.

Jackson was acquitted of charges of child molestation in 2005 after a highly publicized court trial.
