An arrest warrant issued for Rose McGowan seven months ago by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department surfaced on Monday.

People reports that police reportedly launched an investigation on Jan. 20, after they allegedly found “traces of narcotics” in belongings on an United Airlines flight, reportedly left behind by McGowan. They issued a warrant for her arrest on Feb. 1.

“Our police have attempted to contact Ms. McGowan so that she can appear in a Loudoun County Virginia court to respond to the charge,” said Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department, Rob Yingling.

McGowan herself brought up the fact that a warrant was issued for her arrest, but it’s unclear if she previously knew about it or if someone recently alerted her to it.

“Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSES—,” McGowan tweeted on Monday.

McGowan feels that Hollywood is trying to silence her after she recently opened up about Harvey Weinstein, a Hollywood movie producers whose been named by as many as 50 women for allegedly sexually assaulting them or making unwanted sexual advances towards them.

On Friday, while speaking at the Women’s Convention in Detroit, Jawbreaker actress said that Weinstein raped her decades ago, then shamed her into staying silent for over 20 years.

“I have been silenced for 20 years. I have been slut-shamed. I have been harassed. I have been maligned and you know what? I’m just like you. What happened to me behind the scenes happens to all of us in society and it cannot stand and it will not stand.”

The warrant for McGowan has been entered into the warrant has been entered into a national law enforcement database.
