A Kentucky woman is facing multiple criminal charges after she allegedly spread nude photos of a woman who had dated her son.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reported that 60-year-old Frances Joyce Bailey was arrested this week following the October 18 incident at Pleasure Ridge Park High School, which both Bailey’s granddaughter and the child of the woman pictured in the explicit photos attend.

Police say the suspect gained entry to the school without permission by slipping in through an open side door after two students were granted access.

She then dropped the nude images in the floor of a girls’ restroom, where they were found by students, WDRB reports.

When Bailey left the school, authorities say she left additional photos in the grass outside.

The woman depicted in the nude images reportedly led investigators to the suspect after confirming that she formerly dated Bailey’s son. She had reportedly filed for an order of protection against him after their breakup.

At first, Bailey was reportedly upset that school officials spoke to her granddaughter, who insisted she had nothing to do with the photos found at her school.

Police say Bailey was arrested after they reviewed surveillance footage of the incident.

According to WAVE, Bailey obtained the images from her son’s cellphone.

Jefferson County Public Schools issued a statement, advising parents that the images were only visible for “a few minutes” before students found them and took them to school administrators.

“The incident was caught on videotape and PRP leadership worked with police during the investigation,” the school district added. “We have reiterated our school protocols to students and reminded them that they are not to let anyone inside the building.”

Bailey faces charges of distributing obscene matter, criminal trespassing and harassment. She was placed on house arrest.
