59-year-old man impregnates 14-year-old disabled girl: Investigators

Police have charged a 59-year-old Florida man after they say he impregnated a 14-year-old disabled girl, Crime Watch Daily reported.

Investigators arrested Carlos Carrizales of Frostproof, Florida after a DNA test reportedly proved he is the father.

“This monster committed one of the most egregious crimes fathomable. There is nothing we can say about this except we hope he is sentenced to prison for the rest of his life,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

The disabled girl is reportedly non-verbal.

The teen’s mother took her to a doctor after she experienced unexplained weight gain, an affidavit revealed.

Doctors performed an examination that confirmed the girl was pregnant, according to Crime Watch Daily.

Authorities then interviewed all of the men who had access to the teen, taking DNA samples from them, reports indicate.

After the baby was born, detectives obtained DNA samples, which allowed them to make a positive match and confirm Carrizales was the father, Crime Watch Daily reported.

The DNA results showed a 99.99-percent likelihood Carrizales is the father, the Ledger reported.

Authorities said they confronted Carrizales with the news, at which time he refused to speak with them and did not cooperate.

Investigators arrested Carrizales and booked him into jail.

He is charged with sexual battery on a helpless person and impregnating a minor.

The Ledger reported Florida law prevents the alleged victim’s identity from being released.

Investigators said the teen’s family will raise the baby.
