Convict released from prison on ‘good behavior’ rapes, tortures, impregnates teen girl held in dungeon for 10 years: Cops

A man previously convicted of torturing, raping, and keeping a woman imprisoned was arrested over the weekend and charged with the same crimes he committed before. Apparently, the suspect was previously released from prison on “good behavior.”

Yahoo News reports that Aloisio Francesco Rosario Giordano, 52, of Gizzeria, Italy, is accused of kidnapping a then-teen and forcing her into the basement of his home.

This is the second time the suspect faces charges for taking women against the will and assaulting them. In 1995, he was sentenced to prison for kidnapping an unnamed woman and forcing her to live in his basement while he sexually assaulted her. After serving just four years in prison, Giordano was released after exhibiting good behavior while locked up.

He returned home to a wife and two children upon release, but when his wife passed away from a terminal illness, he set his sights on a young Romanian teen he hired to help care for him and his children.

Giordano forced the young teen into his basement, where he continuously raped and abused her for 10 years. During that time, she became pregnant twice and gave birth to both children while locked in a rat-infested basement. The victim said Giordani regularly refused to give her food and water, and sexually assaulted and beat her in front of her two children, now ages nine and three. Her oldest child, a boy, was eventually forced to help Giordani abuse and torture her, according to police.

The victim was eventually rescued when Giordani decided to take the boy with him in a run-down car. Police pulled the convict over after noticing the vehicle’s poor condition. They also noticed a dirty, malnourished little boy in the back seat. The officers demanded to see the child’s mother and eventually, Giordano reluctantly gave him and took them to his home, where the officers discovered the victim and her daughter, covered in filth and malnourished.

The victim, now 29, told authorities she hadn’t seen daylight in years. She said she slept on a cardboard bed and was forced to use a bucket as a toilet with no water. Authorities found deep wounds on the victim’s breasts and crotch area after the suspect allegedly assaulted her.

The victim and her children are now in protective custody.

Authorities arrested Giordano and charged him with aggravated sexual assault and mistreatment. He reminds behind bars without bond. Check back with CrimeOnline as additional details become available.
