Pregnant mom of twins disappears while running quick errand to local bank

New York City police are searching for a pregnant mother of twins who vanished while making a quick trip to a local bank on Tuesday morning.

NBC New York reports that Amarjit Kaur, 34, of Queens, left her home off of 128th Street in South Ozone Park on Tuesday for a visit to her local Chase bank when she disappeared. Authorities later found her car with her cellphone inside near the 113th Street bank, but Kaur was nowhere in sight. Surveillance footage captured her walking along on a sidewalk shortly before she vanished.

Kaur is six weeks pregnant and also the mother of 7-year-old twins. She was wearing yellow pants and a long-sleeved black shirt on the morning she disappeared. She has dark brown and brown eyes, and stands around 5 feet, 4 inches tall.

Anyone with any information on Kaur’s whereabouts is urged to contact police.
