Stranger takes photos of himself inside an 84-year-old grandmother’s home with HER cellphone

A Missouri family is desperate for answers after they found photos and seconds-long videos of a strange man, taken with their grandmother’s phone inside her home.

KMOV reports that Valerie Wallace found several pictures and videos of an unknown man in her 84-year-old grandmothers cellphone, apparently taken inside the elderly woman’s Festus home. Wallace immediately asked her grandmother if she knew the man. She did not.

“I was like, ‘grandma do you know anything about him?’,” said Wallace, “and she’s just like ‘no, I don’t know him, I don’t recognize him, the neighbors don’t know him, the maintenance man has never seen him, nobody knows anything about him.”

The victim, according to Wallace, keeps her cellphone beside her as she sleeps at night, but two of the photos were taken at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Another photo was taken at 10:30 p.m. Wallace said she also found a photo of her grandmother sleeping.

Wallace reported that the strange man may have snuck into her grandmother’s house via a broken sliding glass door. After having the door repaired, the suspect hasn’t returned, at least to Wallace’s knowledge.

The victim, scared and confused, contacted the police and filed a report. Wallace said she won’t feel her grandmother is safe, however, until the man is caught.

“I’m concerned about my grandma’s well-being. I mean who knows what this guy could do? And how many other houses has he done this to?  How many other people has he done this to?”

Anyone who recognizes the man in the photos should contact the Festus police at (636) 937-5184.
