Watch: FB user records sneaky airplane passenger with economy ticket helping herself to a premium seat

An airline passenger on an AirAsia flight to Hong Kong snuck into the premium section of the airplane several times, even after she was repeatedly told to go back to her own seat.

New York Post reports that passenger Bruce Lam caught the incident on video and posted it to his Facebook page. Lam and his friends bought tickets for the airline’s premium class seats. While seated waiting for take-off, an unknown woman walked from her economy seat area and help herself to a premium seat.

One of the flight attendants told the passenger that the seat was was a premium seat that people paid extra for prior to the flight. The flight attendant then asked to passenger to go back to the seat she paid for. After arguing with the flight attendant, the passenger begrudgingly walked back to her economy seat.

Yet, within a few minutes, the passenger crept back to the coveted premium seat. Again, the passenger argued with the flight attendant but eventually turn to her assigned seat. Shortly after, for the third time, the passenger made her way back to the premium seat.

“A few minutes later, the woman returned to the seats behind me again for the third time. She lay down and started playing with her phone,” Lam wrote on his Facebook post. “The stewardess told her that it wouldn’t be fair to other passengers if she could ‘upgrade’ her seat by herself, while others could not.”

Eventually, Lam grew impatient the passenger after she continued disrupt the flight. He stood up and demanded that the obnoxious passenger go back to her own seat.

“Just return to your seat. Once, twice, thrice, they asked you. Do you know shame at all?”

Flight attendants thanked Lam for the help and gave him free mineral water for the inconvenience.
