Authorities in Michigan say an irate customer violently assaulted the owner and other employees of a Chinese restaurant last week.
According to Fox News, 24-year-old Jade Anderson was arrested after an alleged victim called 911 on Friday to report the incident.
Police believe the suspect bit a piece off the owner’s ear when she became dissatisfied with the contents of a meal she received from China 1 in Mount Clemons.
Anderson also allegedly pushed the owner’s son, who is the man heard on a 911 call aired by a local news outlet.
“There’s a violent woman over here hitting my mom,” he said, according to WXYZ. “She also hit me.
He told the dispatcher that he was “scared” and said that he did not know who the attacker was.
“Can you please come?” he asked. “She’s fighting us right now.”
As the owner attempted to force the woman out of the restaurant, she allegedly bit his ear, removing a portion of it completely.
He went from the scene to an area hospital to receive treatment.
A sign on the business’ front door on Friday informed customers that it would be closed.
“We are not opening today because of some reasons,” the message read.
In addition to the violent attack, police believe Anderson left her young child at home alone when she went initially went to the restaurant.
The suspect was arrested and booked into jail with bail set at $20,000. She is expected to face charges including assault with intent to maim.
