BREAKING: New Harvey Weinstein rape accusation could send him to prison for LIFE

Disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein is facing new rape charges in Manhattan, and the latest indictments could find him facing the rest of his life behind bars.

The New York Post reports that a new accuser testified before a grand jury on Friday that Weinstein had sexually assaulted her in 2006. The unidentified accuser, the third to accuse Weinstein of sex crimes in New York, establishes a pattern that reportedly allowed prosecutors to add to counts of predatory sexual assault to the existing charges of rape and a criminal sex act against him.

“A Manhattan grand jury has now indicted Harvey Weinstein on some of the most serious sexual offenses that exist under New York’s Penal Law,”  Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. said in a statement obtained by the New York Post.

Last month, Weinstein pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of rape and one count of first-degree criminal sex act.

He was released on $1 million cash bail and is required to wear an ankle monitor to ensure he does not leave New York or Connecticut.

Weinstein has denied engaging in nonconsensual sex acts.
