URGENT: AMBER Alert issued for young girl ‘coerced’ onto Greyhound bus with adult male she met online *FOUND SAFE*

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension apprehended a 23-year-old man and located a 13-year-old Kansas girl on Friday, according to KCTV. The AMBER has been canceled and the male is in custody.

Authorities in Kansas issued an AMBER Alert for a 13-year-old girl who disappeared on Wednesday, believed to be with a 23-year-old man.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) reports that Amber Lynn Rewerts-Schiavoni disappeared on July 4 from her home off of  77th Street and Quivira Road in Lenexa with 23-year-old Dechon D. White. Amber told her mother she was heading to the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park at around 1 p.m.

At 7:50 p.m., Amber and White were spotted at the Kansas City, Missouri, Greyhound Bus Station. Amber was last seen wearing black jeans and a black “Sons of Anarchy” t-shirt.

Authorities indicated that Amber may have taken a bus to the St. Paul, Minneapolis, area but could also be in the Kansas City area. Police said White is a suspect in the girl’s disappearance. The pair met online and had been chatting for several weeks before they met up. The Lenexa Police Department stated that White may have “forced” and “coerced” Amber to leave. She’s considered to be in imminent danger.

White is is a black male who stands 6-feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has an “afro” hairstyle dyed orange at the ends. He frequently pulls his hair back in a bun/short ponytail.
