MISSING: Police ask public for help, offer reward after mom and infant daughter disappear

The Burlington Police Department in Iowa wants the public’s assistance with any information that can help lead to the July 6 disappearance of a Burlington woman and her baby daughter.

The Hawk Eye reports that 22-year-old Magen Ellen Clark disappeared, likely with her 10-month-old daughter, Davina Rose Clark, on July 6, but her family in Kansas didn’t report her missing until July 23. According to the spokesperson for the Burlington PD, Lt. Adam Schaefer, the child’s father, who lives in Edwardsville, Kansas, phoned police when he didn’t hear from his daughter in a few weeks and became worried.

“At this point, we decided to put the information out to the public that she is missing,” Schaefer said. “We would like for her to contact us to let us know she is okay … We are also asking the public to contact us if they have seen her or know where she might be.”

Apparently Clark is known to police in the Burlington area, although it’s unclear how or why. She could possibly be traveling with Daniel Lee Cluney, who’s wanted for numerous felonies, according to Schaefer.

“At this point, we do not know what has happened to her. We have information that she [is associated with] Daniel Lee Cluney, who is currently wanted by authorities on multiple felony warrants in Des Moines County, including going armed with intent, first-degree burglary and being a felon in possession of a firearm.”

Clark is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.

“We talked to people who know her and they told us the last time they saw her (in the Burlington area) was July 6,” Schaefer added. “We also have information she could possibly be in a vehicle that is registered to her. The vehicle is described as a maroon 1991 Nissan Stanza with Iowa license plates Des Moines County GTV986.”

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Burlington Police Department at 319-753-8370 or Crime Stoppers at 319-753-6835. Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Clark and her daughter’s whereabouts.
